Multiple Fields, Same Person

The "Person or Group" list column type offers a range of "fields" that can
be shown: Name, account, work email, SIP address, Department...

I would like to have a row in a custom list that has a column for several of
these "fields", such that when the "name" is selected via the usual People
Picker, the other fields are filled in with the respective values for that
person.

Google has failed me; any ideas among the cognoscenti?

Sorry, that should have been "I would like to have a row in a custom list
that has a column for _each_ of several of these fields...". I'm only
looking for one value per column.

You have 2 options as far as I know:

. create a webpart
. in the custom list, add the person multiple times, each time display
a different value. When you create a new row for the list, you need to
select the same person multiple times, a pain, but ...
