I have setup a sharepoint server and set it up to use HTTPS using an SSL cert… Authentication works fine, only one authentication is required to navigate around the lists, events, creating new list items, etc. The problem is that it wants to authenticate AGAIN if I try to view a document from the document library. Is there a way to shut that off? Why is it authenticating again when I’m trying to open a word document from the sharepoint site I have already authenticated against and am working on?
