multi-forest / domain trust and crawling

Anyone here with either a multi-forest or multi-domain trust crawl the other
sites AD?

That is a good question.
I have 2 forests that are eventually going to need access to the same sharepoint
site. I've read a few articles about doing so, but haven't given much thought
to it, yet.
