How to move my existing ASP.NET/ASP applications to WSS site?

I think I didn't explain you my question properly. Here
is the question again. In my company, we're in a process of moving
our existing intranet site to WSS environment. The existing site was
developed using ASP ie., all the documents are kept in folders and
they are accessing those files by ASP code. Likewise they also have
some applications inside that intranet site. Those applications are
developed either by using ASP or .NET or HTML.

Now, I need to move those applications from the existing intranet to
the new WSS site. How can I move that? I know that I want to create
a Web Application in a IIS Manager and then I need to add all my
company applications to my newly created Web Applications. I know
till this. But I don't know what to do after that. Please answer me
this question. It'll be more helpful for me. Also I'm looking into
other resources to find a answer.

If you are interested in integrating your existing applications into
SharePoint, there are several approaches that can be taken. Here is en
excerpt from my presentation on Migrating Existing applications to
SharePoint. It makes references to DNA which involves the three-tier
approach to development: Presentation, Business and Data layers.

Six Levels of Integration:

* Level I - Page Viewer WebPart

* Not real integration but low cost

* Level II - Presentation in SharePoint

* Business and Data layer remain external

* Still fairly low cost

* User acceptance factor

* Level III - Data in SharePoint

* Existing app changed to access data in SharePoint

* Higher cost than Level II

* Resolve data issues upfront

* Data accessible to other SharePoint users

* Level IV - Hybrid GUI

* Uses SharePoint list format but still stores data in existing
external format

* Reduces time to create GUI

* Increases development time to write interface code

* Level V - Presentation & Data

* When Business layer is complicated this option may be viable

* Still has a lower cost than full integration

* Allows other SharePoint users access to data

* User acceptance factor

* Level VI - Complete conversion

* All functionality moved to WebParts or Features

* Highest cost of all options

* Legacy application goes away completely

This is just part of the presentation, but it should give you some ideas.

I highly recommend this presentation if you are planning on migrating an
existing app to SharePoint. I had the pleasure of seeing it in person.
