MOSS Implementation

Asked By: Alec Morrow         Date: Dec 25, 2007      Category: MOSS      Views: 212

Did anyone implemented MOSS on a distributed network ? If so, Could you
please share your thoughts ?

I am looking for a landscape diagram on MOSS Implementation, where in
the headquarters will have a Portal Site and all other offices (in
different countries) will have sub-sites.

I read few articles on WAN acceleration and Replication, but didnot get
a clear picture on a distributed network for MOSS implementation.

I really appreciate if anyone can share any documentation/URLs.

I could not understand whether you are trying to reply to my question
or posting a new question.

If you have replied to my question, then I could not understand what
you are trying to explain me. Could you just be in detail.

If you are not trying to reply to my question or trying to post a new
question. I would like to request you to please open a new thread as
you are trying to confuse the discussion group.

I have a presentation tomorrow, I did a complete search, but could
not find any; (....like a one slide powerpoint presentation of MOSS
implementation on a distributed network).

MOSS does not install well in a geo-dispersed environment. You need to
ensure that you have reliable, high-bandwidth, low-latency environment.
The farm servers cannot be separated by traditional WAN bandwidth.

Hi,

Both work different in real time. We can surely propose you something which will be most efficient and we can discuss this over a short call. Please do let me know a good time and number and we can have a quick call or feel free to reach me.

Thanks,
Ashish
