MOSS Address Book - AD EMail enabled group

We are trying to find a way to, within a MOSS workflow, point the address book
to a specific AD group. Does anyone know if this is possible?

The goal is to have a list of managers in an AD group and when a user click on
the address book within the workflow to select a person to send a notification
to it only pulls names from the AD managers group.

You could programmatically connect to your local ldap, generate a list  of
users within that group, grab the email  addresses and use send  mail.
