We are experiencing a problem with saving word documents into document
library where there are properties are set on documents.
Here is what happens:
- I create a fresh docx or doc file in Word 2007.
- Then I try to save it to My Network Places->sharepoint document
library.
- If that document library has required document properties and I am
saving docx, it will tell me that I need to enter required fields and
show correct DIP. If it's doc, it will simply save it.
In Word 2003, before saving it was prompting for these fields.
I know that in Word 2007 MS has removed this prompt.
I was trying to write a macro/vba to get this prompt to come up, but I
am not sure how.
