MOSS 2007 - error every 30 second in the Windows - Event Viewer

Every 30 second the following error is in the Windows - Event Viewer -
Application log:

"SharePoint Portal Administration Service" (Event id 202)

The error says:
"Synchronization exception occurred"

Anyone who knows why this happens or how to go further?

Is the category "Exception?" If the issue is just that you don't want to
SEE the error, use the diagnostic log throttling to increase the
required severity to display errors of category "Exception."

Is this an upgraded portal or new installation instance?

I got help on this from another contact who gave me this:

Cobrachen: I guess you are on to the same solution when you ask if its an
upgrade or not. Because that was the problem. I had to stop some Windows
Services coming from the SharePoint 2003 installation.
