MOSS 2007 Backup - reclaim disk space

Asked By: Ariel Logan         Date: May 24, 2007      Category: MOSS      Views: 190

What is the best way to reclaim hard disk space after the portal has
backed up several days worth of data? Can I just delete the subfolders
from the previous days or is there a more elegant solution? If I
delete the old subfolders, then the backups are still going to show up
in SharePoint because of the toc xml file. Is there a way to reset
that file as well?

Oh, just the spbrtoc.xml. I guess that's the file that holds the
history of your backups.
