Is MOSS 2007...a little humor

Asked By: Bobbi    Date: May 30    Category: MOSS    Views: 750

Recently, during a discussion of moving our Portal from Plumtree to MOSS
2007, our chief systems engineer started yelling that MOSS 2007 is just
simply a plain presentation layer tool.

I am wondering what would be some nice quick one-line comebacks for that

He's uneducated ....is the first one that comes to mind.

"Just", "simply", and "plain" are not the first words I would use to
describe MOSS.

Besides, isn't a "presentation-layer tool" exactly what a portal is supposed
to be? Every time we have embedded business logic into our (non-SharePoint)
portal, we've regretted it.

I guess all those uploaded
documents, workflows, user groups, security permissions and application forms
are just code, BUT so is the operating system that it runs ON!
What school did you graduated from again? """

But hey what do I know about MOSS we only use WSS 3.0 LMbO!

Ask him how many programmers/WebMasters/DBAs it would take to build a Site
Collection/Site/DataList/Team Collaboration tool that reports current active
data in about 5 minutes?
