Migration Tools

I have a Sharepoint Portal 2001 with approximately
2000 pdf files. It is in bad shape and I want to just
move the documents out not so much migrate them...I
looked at the spin and spout but they will migrate
with the document library structure...no do not want
to do that.

Any good migration tools out there that are just quick
and dirty...?

If you only want to copy your document, try the web folder view (network
places), a 'simple' copy paste of your pdfs from the webfolder to any local
folder should do it, then copy/paste these docs to your doclib in the explorer
view.
quick and dirty.

The only problem is that you lose meta data, while SPIN propagate these meta
data in SPS2003
