Migrating SP 2003 My Sites to MOSS 2007

Asked By: Nagendra Ratnalikar         Date: Oct 12, 2009      Category: MOSS      Views: 218

We are migrating to MOSS 2007 using the content database approach. All
of our site data has migrated but our My sites did not. We want to have
a separate web application to host our My Sites. Does anyone have any
documentation on how to migrate our current My Sites into this scenario?
How do you migrate SPS 2003 My Sites to MOSS 2007 using a different web
application (not the same web application hosting the portal site)?

Resending this...Does anyone know how to do this? Most of the resources
on the 'Net talk about migrating  to a single web application.

You will need to do the initial migration using the single web
application, then use backup/restore after upgrade to move the My Sites
to the new web application(s).
