Microsoft.Sharepoint.Utility.SPPropertyBag

I am trying to change the property's value on the key basis.Please
tell me, what will help me to change the property on dashboard when
event gets fired.

I found one SPPropertyBag class's UPdate event in sdk, but not
getting how to use it.& whether it is right or not.
