Medium SPS2003 Farm installed in English - Can we support Japenese?

Asked By: Amie    Date: May 30    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 5416

We have a large, established SPS2003/WSS2.0 environment that was
installed in English.

What effort, in a nutshell, would it take to support Japenese
language/characters in this environment? Will we be limited to just
WSS2.0, or is possible to use this character set in both SPS and WSS?

Or would it be less headache just to spin up a WSS2.0 instance in jap
separate from our farm?

Just looking for various options at this point to allow our Japenese
collegues to collab and take part in our Portal.

We have a multilingual module which support  Japanese. It is possible to install
it in an English environment  and offer the option to switch from English to
Japanese.

What is the multilingual module you are referring to exactly? Do have
any more information you can share on this?
