How can I measure Sharepoint usage?

Asked By: Jena    Date: Nov 30    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1067

Could anyone tell me how to measure Sharepoint usage? We would like to be able
to print out a list of which documents have been accessed by whom, say, on a
monthly basis.

However, I have not been able to find a script which automatically examines the
Sharepoint log files and then shows which documents have been accesses by which
user.

Take a look at www.analog.cx It will read the IIS logs and produce usage
reports.

There is a script  available at www.sharepointcode.com under the Code section.
It is entitled Usage_Report.zip that should help you to get where you are going.
