Mapping your Portal

Asked By: Jordan    Date: Jul 11    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 578

Is anyone aware of a tool (web part or otherwise) that can help you
dynamically map your portal pages? I would rather not have to manually
update a Visio document for the rest of my life.

CourasWorks has a web  part that does just that called Workplace view
Advanced. It shows a complete tree of all the sites and subsites. We use
it here at the College HYPERLINK

There are some web  services that will do this for the sites. I am lost
about the pages.

If you look on page 221 of The Developers Guide to WSS 3.0, He builds
Web Service Application that That will show all of the web.

Perhaps the Table of Contents Web part  (MOSS 2007) Will do this for
you.

Well I need it for 2003 so we can accurately rebuild in 2007. But
this is still great info.
