Mapping Additional Profile Properties--LDAP and EDirectory

Does anyone have experience with this?
We are able to do an import, but with limited results..
We dont seem to pull over all the properties we need..
We have tried to add more properties and map them, but we have also been
unsuccessful..

The Manager is populated from the Active Directory Manager property on the
Organization tab. This is a single user value entry.
