Managed property cant be used in query?

I have a custom property that im trying to return in a search result but does notn seem to do so.

i have mapped it to a crawled proprty but the query that requests it does not return ANY results now.

would really appreciate the help!

Sorry but i forgot to mention that I am using WSS 3.0 and it seems this functionality does not wok with WSS 3.0 but only MOSS 2007 onwards.

Any other work around you may have would be helpful please.
