Maintaining/Modifying Site Hierarchy

I have created a top level site at http://mysite.mycompany.com/test.
Now I want to move this site collection one level up (i.e.)
http://mysite.mycomany.com/ . I am not able to find a way to do it.
Does anyone on here know how to do it?
