Asked By: Brendon Summers         Date: Apr 24, 2003      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 320

Can anyone help me on this.

I am trying to add my inbox and mycalendar webpart on
the sps homepage.

From the webpart to go to "Modify shared webpart".

on mail Configuration template. I set the mail server
address as http://<mailservername>/exchange/

In mail inbox i added my username.

Now if anyother users access the portal they are
propted with mail username and password and get
unauthorized access. It works fine for me.

I need to know how to all all the username on the mail
inbox?

Wouldn´t it be easier and better to put the in box on each
user´s "My site"?

I agree. My Site is, by far, the best place for My Inbox, My Calendar, etc....

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if these web parts *won't* work on the Home
page of a portal.

This inbox  webpart will not work on the Portal/Team site because you cannot
dynamically set  the mailbox property for each user. The best place is mySite.
