MAC Clients

Asked By: Mathew Nichols         Date: Dec 25, 2003      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 295

We have a 2003 AD domain and will be installing SPS2003 sometime next
quarter. Is anyone using it now with MAC clients (OS9.2 and OSX)? Are
there any browser compatibility issues, AD authentication issues, or
other "opportunities" to deal with?

I have had it running as part of Small Business Server 2003 for about 6 weeks. The only Mac trouble I have had is that the certificate that SBS 2003 creates and uses is not Mac compatible as Microsoft is not known as a root certificate provider. I eventually purchased a VeriSign SSL cert. and all now works well for the Mac (OS X) and IE 5.
