load sps2003 on existing wss installation?

we are considering loading SPS2003 on a WSS server (local SQL) with
~10 active sites. beyond backing up the WSS sites, are there things
we should consider? is it even possible? will we need to redo
anything in the WSS sites to make them available as part of SPS2003?
