Listing Discussion Boards by Date

Does anyone here know of a good way to organize a *threaded* discussion
by *newsest first* in Sharepoint Team Services? My group has
experimented with this and it appears to be impossible with the default
Discussion Board web part. Are we just missing something or is there a
better discussion board web part out there to use? We'd of course prefer
a free one.

If you're not under time pressure I'd say wait for the soon to be
released [1] Service Pack 1 of Office System 2003/SharePoint. It will
have some improvements on the discussion  board too. Not sure if that
will fix your problem, though, but that's why I've pulled back for a
while from messing with that stuff
