There are many ways to get the list  of all the sites  on the home  page.
Can you provide some context to why you want the list? For example, are
you trying to programmatically get a list of lists or you just do not
know how to get to the built in user interface for the lists?

I just don't know how to get to build in user interface for site lists
on my sharepoint  portal server  home page.

I'm not looking to program anything...

The answer of Brent was an ideal solution, its al I wanted, a webpart to
list al my sites  on the home  page of the portal, so all my users don't
have to go in to sites are to search or remember the name to type it
in....

You can definitely use SharePoint OM to get all the team sites.
