My user has a load of News items that the user maintains currently on a network folder. Unlike document library, News does not allow upload of documents, instead it allows you to paste information or link to an existing document.

Here are my questions:
I do not want the documents to remain on a Network drive, instead I would rather put them on the Sql Server (best If I can upload it like any other document library): Does any of you have any suggestions ??? (The News items are either html, doc or pdf files)

Till the files are linked, will the SPPS Search be able to look into these linked documents and bring them as result set ???
