Limitations for Object Model

Could you clarify my doubts listed below.

1) In vch scenarios I want to go for MOSS 2007 in order to develop a web
application than in .NET?

2) What were the limitations for Object Model?

3) Suggest me some worked examples sites for Infopath and Workflows.
