There are several document libraries in the site. I need to limit user
John Doe's access to document library ABC only. Here is what I did:
1. settings->document library settings of ABC->permissions for this
document library->edit permissions to break permission
inheritance->new->add users to add John doe to the library with
contribute permissions. John Doe has no other permissions.
After above is done, John Doe can't go to http://server/sites/team
(the url of the team site), he can only go to
http://server/sites/team/ABC. Is this what I should expect?
Also the site logo is stored in the images folder (you see this folder
if you use SharePoint Designer). However, this logo does not show up,
instead the page shows a broken image. How do I fix this without
moving this image to a document library since I can't modify
permissions on the images folder or its contents?
Last question, what is the best practice to limit permissions on a
site, taking into account administration, maintenance etc.
