Liensing Issues

Asked By: Raven    Date: Jun 08    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 656

I work with sharepoint for the Northeast Educational Consortium. We are
getting conflicting reports on how it needs to be licensed. Could you
shed any light on this for us.

Can you be more specific as to what your sharepoint  Architecture is,
SharePoint features you are planning to use (You can have WSS, MOSS
Std., MOSS Ent., MOSS Search, Forms)

Please visit the following link to know more in depth about product

Then this page provides you with some licensing info

What version of SharePoint are you talking about (E.g. WSS, SPS2003,
MOSS2007, etc) - there have been at least 7 (more if you count things
like the Digital Dashboard Resource Kit or Search Server 2008) different
products called "SharePoint" since 2001, most of which have different
licensing requirements.
