Can anyone explain why Sharepoint can use the Item ID in a calculated
column but can't remember to do so after you go back to the list.
When I do a calculated column and I set the column value to [ID], it
updates all the list items with the approprite ID value.
But then, new items don't geta value and when I go back and look at
the formula, it's been modified to ID.
