Invalid URL (2nd request for direction)

Asked By: Korey    Date: Jan 10    Category: MOSS    Views: 932

When I attempt to view the permissions of a group, I click on the group
name and it lists the users belonging to that group. When clicking on
SETTINGS/VIEW GROUP PERMISSIONS I notice a URL that does not exist for
example http://moss2007/workflows. When I click on the URL I get page
cannot be displayed. The reason I am attempting to get to this page is
the root http://moss2007 has the Team MOSS Owners listed as FULL
CONTROL, LIMITED ACCESS. How do I get rid of this bogus URL. It is
listed as Team MOSS Owners having access to it but I can't change the
permissions for a site that does not exist.

Everyone's help is appreciated here.

I'm confused about what you are actually trying to do here. Are you
trying to figure out the source of the Limited Access permission? Are
you certain the "bogus" url  is actually a site  URL and not an
administrative setting for overall workflow permissions  in the site

I can understand the confusion you may have
with relation to my issue. I am attempting  to rectify the Limited
Access setting yes. However, I am not sure how to check the permissions
at that location as it does not exist  when clicking  on it. The Limited
Access permission has me wondering to the other sites or administrative
settings to resolve the limited  access setting. Team site  Owner should
have full control of the entire site and I am not sure why the
administrative setting for workflow permissions  has something less than.
It must be an administrative setting because it certainly is not a site.

Any idea on how to resolve the administrative setting for workflow?
This must be the culprit in generating the Limited access  setting when
viewing group  permissions for Team Site Owners?
