Intranet users having "Access Denied"

Asked By: Vanraj Mittal         Date: Feb 19, 2010      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 603

I just created an intranet site for a small company of 100 employees.
I can see the intranet site. However, other users are getting the
'Access Denied" error page when they go to the site.

I did set the IE -> options -> security settings -> allow
automatically logon with user/pass, and also added the intranet url to
the list of Allow sites.

I used NTML authentication when I created the web application, but I
set 'Allow anonymous login' to NO. Could it be it? If so, now how do I
set it to YES?

Did you provide permissions to access  the site  after you created  it?

In Site Settings, you need to go to the users  and Permissions section; pick
People and Groups, and you'll be taken to the area where you can import
users and groups, assign permissions, etc.
