Integrating Passport with Sharepoint Portal server

Does anyone have experience in implementing a passport sign-on on
share point deployment? If so any information on that would be really
helpful.

I am also looking on how we can map a passport account to Share point
user role. It seems like there is no straight forward way of doing
this. Can any provide some direction on this?

Both WSS and SPS require Windows User Accounts (AD recommended, but you can get
by with local accounts). The only way to use passport  would be to somehow map
the passport account  to a windows account, keeping in mind you'll need some way
to handle non-browser (e.g. Office) clients.
