Installing WSS v.3 with SQL Server 2005

Asked By: Pallavi    Date: Sep 07    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 760

I just installed SQL Server 2005 and WSS v.3 on a test server of mine.
I have not worked with SQL Server 2005 before so I'm not sure what is
going on but when I open SQL Server 2005 Management Studio I don't see
any of the WSS databases that I see on production SQL Server 2000.

I was thinking that I needed to do something else on the WSS side but
I'm not sure what. I ran the configuration wizard successfully. When
I go into the site page it created and try to add an event or upload a
document it does nothing when I hit the Ok button to save my addition.

I tried going into the Central Administration and creating a new site
collection but I does nothing when I click the OK button. Has anyone
had problems with their buttons working inside of WSS?
