Installing Sharepoint 2007

Asked By: Caitlin    Date: Apr 17    Category: MOSS    Views: 633

I am attempting to install Sharepoint 2007 server on a virtual server
in a stand alone environment. I do not have AD or DNS installed. The
server is a member of a workgroup only.

I actually have the server software installed on the server. It is the
configuration I am having a problem with. I have been trying to follow
the directions from Mindsharp's website, but to no avail. When I get
to the part where I try to Create New Web Application, I am able to
fill in all the information, but when I hit the OK button, nothing
happens. No new screen appears and no new IIS websites appear.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I had a similar issue and had to reapply Windows 2k3 SP1, that fixed my problem.
