Installing multiple language packs

Asked By: Antoinette Cross         Date: Sep 24, 2009      Category: MOSS      Views: 206

The order for installing is as follows

Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 language pack

Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 SP1 or SP2 language pack

Office SharePoint Server 2007 language pack

Office SharePoint Server 2007 SP1 or SP2 language pack

then MS instructions

Install a language pack
Run Setup.

On the Read the Microsoft Software License Terms page, review the terms, select
the I accept the terms of this agreement check box, and then click Continue.

Setup runs and installs the language pack.

Rerun the SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard, using the
default settings. If you do not run the SharePoint Products and Technologies
Configuration Wizard after you install a language pack, the language pack will
not be installed correctly.

My question:

Do I need to run the Technologies wizard after each one of these steps, or can I
do it after all are installed?

I need to do this with 4 different languages and I want to avoid running the
wizard 16 times

You should only need to run the wizard after the last language  pack install
