Installing Adobe I filter for MOSS Farm

My farm consists of the following:
sharepoint-sql Windows SharePoint Services Database

SHAREPOINT-WEB1 Windows SharePoint Services Incoming E-Mail
Windows SharePoint Services Web Application

SHAREPOINT-WEB2 Windows SharePoint Services Incoming E-Mail
Windows SharePoint Services Web Application

SP-APP-INDEX Central Administration
Office SharePoint Server Search
Windows SharePoint Services Help Search
Windows SharePoint Services Incoming E-Mail
Windows SharePoint Services Web Application

Central Admin is hosted on SP-APP-Index
SSP is hosted on WEB1

Where do I need to install the IFilter?

The IFilter needs to be installed on your Index server  (not your WFE's ...which
I assume you're using for serving Queries). On your WFE's, you need to modify
your DOCICON.xml file, and I believe there's one other change as well ...if you
follow Adobe's PDF IFilter doc, you will not go wrong (with the exception of x64
...which you need the x64 version of the IFilter).
