Installation error message

I'm installing SharePoint Portal Server 2001 on
Windows 2000 Server SP 4. I'm also using Ms. Visio
2003, but I already remove it. Now I'm using Ms Office
2000. Why did I get this error message right before
finishing the installation:

[08/19/04,14:06:32] SharePoint Portal Server: [2]
CVAIComponent, Error 0x80040154: VAIFy failed
[08/19/04,14:06:32] SharePoint Portal Server: [0]
CVAIComponent::Install, Error setting up VAI.

This is my 10th effort to install SharePoint Portal
Server 2001, and it is very frustrating me.

On the previous installation I also got these error
numbers:

0x80004005 and 0x80070426

Can anyone help me please.. Any help would be very
appreciated.
