InfoPathDev Web Service Tutorial

  Asked By: Courtney    Date: Dec 15    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 2058

They've got a pretty good tutorial that's supposed to poke values
into a SharePoint list via web service.

The tutorial is here:
infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?
i=7bc880f391b84ea9b3b45c6fbecc07c6

I get down to the submit button and it's trying to use the list GUID
out of a text field on the InfoPath form.

But I'm getting this error:

The SOAP response indicates that an error occurred on the server:

Exception of type
Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException was thrown.
<detail>
<errorstring xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/soap/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/soap/">
List does not exist

The page you selected contains a list that does not exist. It may
have been deleted by another user. Click "Home" at the top of the
page to return to your Web site.
</errorstring>
<errorcode
xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/soap/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/soap/">0x82000006</err
orcode>
</detail>
