Infopath Roles

Has anyone used infopath roles to change views upon opening forms
based on the user's account? From a sharepoint form library of course.
I am trying to do this, and it seems like the form is not seeing our
active directory. There are a couple other active directory problems,
and they all have similar symptoms.

Anyone have any ideas? Is our active directory set up wrong?

One option to consider is InfoView. This is a commercial product that takes
your XSN file and converts it to ASPX. You then can call the InfoPath forms
via .Net without the user invoking InfoPath at all. One advantage is it
gives you complete control over switching views based on any criteria
including roles. Another is the end users do not have to have InfoPath
installed. The url is http://www.infoview.net/ not .COM! While I have no
direct association with the company that produces it, I am an existing user
