We have a form library configured to use InfoPath 2003. We just upgraded to
InfoPath 2007. Since the upgrade, when users click New, they get the following

The following form template cannot be open because the System Administrator has
disabled opening form templates from the internet.

We get this messave when the setting is "Open in client application". But it
works fine when set to open in web page.

We need to use the client application since certain features are disabled in web

I would check compatibility settings in Infopath. Was the library created by
publishing an Infopath 2003 form to SharePoint?

I am assuming that all client-side versions are 2007? If you design an InfoPath
form in 2003, then migrate it to 2007. It then must be opened with InfoPath 2007

Could it be a security setting within the customer's environment, what they
allow or not allow? Everything works fine on my VM, I can turn using client on
and off as needed with no problem. But as soon as I do this in the customer's
environment, it does not work.
