Index update using notifications

I have implemented a SharePoint Portal Server with 5 workspaces. One
workspace is called Home and is the main access gate of the intranet.
Since I wanted to give users the possibility to make searches from the
workspace Home in the other workspaces I created 4 new content sources in
Home.

The problem is: in those new content sources I'm not able to launch
notification update. I can only schedule full updates.
How can I do?
