Index not propegating out to other servers in the farm

We have 2 WFE set up in our environment with an index box and about
once a week it looks like the index loxks in a crawl and won't
propegate out to the 2 WFE. Has anyone else seen this or have an idea
of were one could start looking for the solution.

Verify you do not have the index  Server also set  as a query. If it is
checked as query, the shadow index will never propagate. Sometimes, I
have had to reset the Index to start  propagation.
