Incr. Profile Import Works on 2nd Try Only

Can anyone help me with this?

Incremental User Profile Import appears to be working on second time only.

Test Procedure:
1. I change my office number from 458 to 459 in the Office property for my
account in Active Directory.
2. Then I do an incremental import.
3. After it is finished importing I check my account in the User Profiles. The
office number is still 458. No errors are reported.
4. I run a second incremental profile import.
5. The number is now 459.

I try this one more time to confirm. On second try only does the attribute

Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?

We have a scheduled incremental import daily and a weekly full import.

We are running MOSS 2007 SP1. The SSP is running on its own server. We have two
web front ends.

After you do an incremental import  (for the first time), go to your search
admin page / content source. Kick off an Full/Incremental crawl for you AD
source. Once the crawl is complete, see if your information has been updated.

Interesting. I did exactly as you said. I did an incremental import  once. I
checked for the change; it wasn't there.

I did a full import. Checked for the property change. It STILL wasn't there.

I believe there is a timer job that does not update until either you run
it manually, or in my case overnight.

All my timer jobs seem to run successfully. I can't find any errors in any of
the logs.

Did you do a full import  or full CRAWL. I have found you need to crawl the
content you import from AD to have MOSS reflect the changes.

Are you seeing anything in the event viewer? Access denied messages perhaps?
