I have looked all over for an answer to this and I suspect the simpleone is 'no' but...Is there a way of mass importing favorites from Internet Explorer (orany browser for that matter) directly into the My Links section on theusers My Site. The only way provided through a browser is one at atime but obviously for users with lots and lots of favorites they areunlikely to do that. Which is a shame as importing the favorites wouldbe a great incentive for getting people to use My Site and SharePointgenerally. Here's hoping...
You can export your Favorites to an HTML file, which could then be copied toa Content Editor Web Part. Alternately, with a little cleanup, you couldbring the file into Excel and save it as a spreadsheet, and then create alist from that.
I had used the HTML and CWEPsuggestion before and it is ok but the list idea is a new one and hasthe benefit of it being far easier for end-users to add new URLs to.So thanks for that. Neither of these would tie the 'old' favorites tothe Links web part (which ties in with the rest of the WSS sites andthe 'Manage Links' functionality) but it looks like I will just haveto live with that.
