I have received a request to follow the following guidelines from Joel Oleson.
blogs.msdn.com/.../...point-app-pool-settings.aspx
Is this a common practice?
Why are we considering this: On one of our sharepoint web applications - in
production and in dev - we are seeing a lot of time out to connection pool
errors. With as little as 7 people refreshing the page.
We have went through a SharePoint environment review with Microsoft
and none of these settings were flagged as being a problem.
It was recommended we leave the IIS settings alone. Changing the settings would
mask any underlying issues we were having.
