IIS, PERL, and SharePoint

Asked By: David L.         Date: Mar 16, 2010      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 220

I have a Dell 2450 running Win2K that houses our location's Intranet.
Some PERL scripts had been developed 3-4 years ago to traverse databases
in one area of the Intranet. These worked fine up until about 2 weeks
ago. As far as I can tell, no settings were changed within IIS
regarding the ability to run scripts. The only thing that happened was
that I attempted to install SharePoint. This failed because I didn't
have the Default Web Site running. I have uninstalled SharePoint,
reinstalled PERL, and reapplied SP2. Short of rebuilding this box, is
there anything that I may have missed?
