HTML Viewers

Does anyone have any experience implementing and using the HTML viewer
in WSS? If so, are they negative or positive?

we use it in a fairly large environment, works pretty well for our UNIX folks. It honestly doesn't get used much. wish they had a Visio html viewer, that would be cool!

Can you edit and view documents using HTML viewer? (heard it was view
only) Also, is the HTML viewer only used when a user does not have
the application installed?
