Hosting an ASP.NET application in SPS

I wanted to know if there is any way to host an ASP.NET application
into the SPS using some kind of a wrapper, so that it fits within the
portal. I don't want to use the page viewer web part to host the
application.
Any pointers/suggestion would be of great help.

What do you mean by "host" exactly? What are you looking for that the Page
Viewer Web part  cannot give you?
