Help with ...\SharePoint Portal Server\Logs

Asked By: Ernie    Date: Dec 29    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 714

We have a client that is using a utility we wrote to import documents
into SharePoint. On there system, every time the utility runs it
creates a 4 MB log file in C:\Program Files\SharePoint Portal
Server\Logs. The utility runs every 15 minutes so they need to clear
out the log files every morning so they don't run out of disk space on
there server. These files are not created on our in-house SharePoint
server when we run the utility. Is this the result of a log setting
that can be easily changed somewhere? Any suggestions or guidance on
why these files are being created and how we can eliminate the problem
is greatly appreciated.
