Yesterday I posted that I was having a portal level search problem.
(note - WSS search works great)

After a little research I was told to reference the
Microsoft Sharepoint PS Search Service in the services on my job
server(note - one server is doing it all) and make sure that the
password for loging on was correct.

So I stopped the service /re-entered my admin password, then started
the service again. I keep getting logon/password failures though.

I don't know what to do.

Also - We will need to start changing our global admin password once
every other month and I need to get a listing of all the places in
the portal that could possibly get affected by this change.

-IIS Application Pool
- and the various Services
-Sharepoint Portal Administration
-Sharepoint Portal Alert
-Sharepoint Timer Service

Can anyoen think of anythign else.
